The Healthcare Programs Supervisor will:
Supervise administrative staff who are responsible for administrative functions for the division including management of the phone lines; Oversee routing of constituent concerns; Supervise the routing and tracking of materials requiring executive leadership approval; Managing calendars for executive leadership while coordinating with external stakeholders, sister agencies and other divisions; Coordinate with appropriate parties to address building related matters; Provide high level administrative support for leadership and the staff of the division; Assist with special projects. How does it get done? The Healthcare Programs Supervisor is responsible for: Coordinating information that may require research and working with staff and managers throughout the division, agency and other external stakeholders including federal and state agencies; Monitoring and routing materials ensuring deadlines are met; Implementing and refining processes as required to ensure effective and efficient operations of the division; Directing and advising staff and managers throughout the division. Who are the customers? Health Care Authority (HCA); Medical Assistance Division (MAD) leadership, staff and managers; Medicaid Recipients, providers, stakeholders and the general public. Ideal Candidate Health Care Authority (HCA); Medical Assistance Division (MAD) leadership, staff and managers; Medicaid Recipients, providers, stakeholders and the general public. Minimum Qualification Associate degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Finance, or a related field and three (3) years of experience with a public assistance program, medical, healthcare, educational, or state facility working with policies and procedures, conducting analysis/research, providing or requesting information from the general public, working with communities, working on health or social service related matters, social work/case management, behavioral health, and/or health care. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling five (5) years may substitute for the required education and experience. Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must obtain a Defensive Driving certification. Working Conditions Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT), extensive personal computer and phone usage with extended periods of sitting.
