Associate Executive Director of Programs Overview:
This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual with extensive program management experience to grow and further develop a variety of human service programs. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Associate Executive Director of Programs will be responsible for the overall leadership and operational over site of program operations including: program development, quality and compliance, and service delivery oversight using a trauma-informed, harm reduction, and housing-first model.

Data Manager, Grants Compliance Manager, and Behavioral Health Manager Qualifications:
1. Master's in a management or health/human services field. 2. Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible leadership, management, or executive experience in human services, with federal/state/foundation grant delivery, reporting, and financial management experience in a non-profit setting. 3. Exceptional project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth. 4. Demonstrated experience with developing and implementing a quality management program. 5. Demonstrated strength in developing, coaching, managing, and retaining individuals and teams, empowering them to elevate their levels of responsibility and performance. 6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail. 7. Highly collaborative with the personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment and passion for the Albany Damien Center's mission. 8. In depth knowledge of data analysis, reporting, and budgeting. 9. Availability to work a flexible schedule with some evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities :
1. Provide program guidance and oversight for the day-to-day operation of all Damien Center programs. 2. Oversee the development, supervision, and evaluation of program management staff, ensuring program goals and objectives are being met. 3. Ensure that all grant-funded activities comply with funder requirements, including timelines, deliverables, reporting deadlines, restrictions on use of funds, and performance documentation. 4. Implement the agency Quality Improvement Plan using qualitative and quantitative processes for outcome and process improvements using the PDSA cycle and SMART goal setting. 5. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships and communication with our federal, state, and foundation grant funders for agency grants. 6. Produce meaningful and timely reports based on program data for management, funders and other stakeholders. 7. Regularly assess program activities and outcomes, monitoring deliverables to ensure compliance with funder expectations as well as any legal requirements and take corrective action as needed. 8. Develop, maintain and improve policies, procedures, operational systems, and internal practices that support strong program performance and appropriate controls. 9. Reviews all grant policies, procedures, and forms for health equity, cultural, and linguistic competency. 10. Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, inclusion, collaboration, service, and responsible stewardship of resources. 11. Ensure appropriate oversight, communication, and follow-up of program staff to ensure delivery of high-quality services in a consistent manner throughout the agency. 12. Assist in the completion of funding proposals and participate in fundraising efforts as needed. 13. Fully engage in self-care to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. 14. Fully support and grow the Damien Center Pharmacy Program and work to support members in reducing barriers to help each person achieve durable HIV Viral Load Suppression. 15. Attend full staff meetings & 24 hours of annual training. 16. Other duties as assigned.
