Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Early Intervention Services to lead and oversee comprehensive early childhood programs designed to support children with developmental disabilities and their families. This leadership role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, developing innovative programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering strong relationships within the community. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for social services, exceptional management skills, and a commitment to equity and inclusion for underserved populations. As a key leader, you will drive program excellence, promote staff development, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services that make a meaningful difference in children's lives. Duties Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of early intervention programs aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements. Supervise and support social service program staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development initiatives. Develop new program initiatives to expand services for children with disabilities and their families, ensuring accessibility for underserved communities. Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and oversee resource allocation to maximize impact and sustainability. Cultivate strong relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, educational institutions, and families to promote collaboration and service integration. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing early intervention services; maintain accurate documentation and reporting. Oversee client communication processes to ensure families receive timely information, support, and advocacy throughout their engagement with services. Lead efforts in staff supervision related to behavioral health practices, social work standards, and culturally responsive care delivery. Skills Extensive experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. Proven relationship management skills to foster partnerships across diverse community stakeholders. Strong administrative experience including budgeting, program development, and compliance oversight. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing, data analysis, and communication purposes. Demonstrated technical project & program management supervisory experience in social services settings. Effective team management skills with a track record of supervising social service staff in fast-paced environments. Experience working with underserved communities to promote equitable access to early intervention services. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse populations effectively. Leadership in social services administration with a focus on program growth and staff development. Excellent writing skills for documentation, grant applications, reports, and client communication. Knowledge of social work principles combined with compliance standards relevant to early childhood programs. Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
