Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) to support our senior affordable housing programs and residents. What You'll Do Process applications and determine eligibility for affordable housing programs Complete move-in, annual, and interim certifications/recertifications Verify income, assets, household information, and required documentation Calculate rents and tenant payments accurately Maintain compliant resident files and occupancy documentation Ensure compliance with HUD, Section 8, LIHTC, Fair Housing, and other applicable requirements Assist residents with questions regarding eligibility, rent, and occupancy What We're Looking For COS certification required , or ability to obtain after hire 2+ years of affordable housing, occupancy, leasing, or property management experience preferred Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, LIHTC, and Fair Housing requirements Experience with income certifications and recertifications Strong attention to detail, organization, and customer service skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and housing/property management software If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.
