QUALIFICATIONS
One year in the Assistant Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF WORK
Court Analysts work under direct supervision, individually or on project teams, performing confidential analysis, research, planning, and other related duties in one or more of the following areas: budget development and court finance; personnel administration; resource allocation; and court system management and administration.
ASSIGNMENT
This position will provide educational and programmatic support for statewide Civic Engagement initiatives, with a focus on school partnerships, curriculum assistance, and youth-centered programming. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the development and review of civic-learning-focused lesson plans, curricula, and educational materials.
- Supporting relationships with schools, teachers, and youth-serving organizations statewide.
- Providing historical, civic, and government-related context for youth programs.
- Preparing educational resources, outreach materials, and classroom-ready content.
- Tracking participation, collecting feedback, and compiling program data.
- Supporting statewide school and youth programs and initiatives throughout program development, execution, and debriefing.
- Occasional travel may be required for educational/school-based programming.
The ideal candidate will have a background in education, history, government, political science, or a related field, along with experience developing or delivering curriculum or youth programming. Strong communication, presentation, and public‑speaking skills are essential, as is experience in community engagement or public outreach. The candidate should also be able to translate civic and historical concepts into clear, accessible teaching content for diverse audiences.
