A Fiscal Director or Budget Director manages the budget and finance department of government agencies or cities. They manage the operations of the budget and finance department; including leading analysts and staff. They review and make recommendations on budget requests and options in terms of policy, programs and objectives for the agency or city while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and statutes. They are responsible for the accumulation of data to support the development of financial analysis and budgeting, including the preparation of quarterly, monthly and annual financial performance measures.

The mission of Vertiv's Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is to create the Organization's next Finance Leaders by developing new industry talent - providing them exposure to multiple facets of the business in a rotational role format, professional support through a pre-designated Mentor, and inner and outer program collaboration. Through this program, FLDP participants will work in several roles throughout the company, acquiring experience, owning key tasks, advancing leadership skills, and gaining exposure to the top levels of leadership in the organization. The program also provides professional development and networking opportunities to grow participant's future leadership potential. After completion of the three-year program, successful participants will have the opportunity to apply for critical roles within the Global Finance team. Our Finance Leadership Development Program offers a unique opportunity for talented individuals to immerse themselves in various facets of finance. Over the course of three years, participants will engage in multiple rotations within our Finance function, providing exposure to diverse areas of expertise and fostering a deep understanding of the discipline.HOW FLDP WORKS
The FLDP provides recent college graduates with the opportunity to attain hands on experience in different areas of Finance at a global, multi-billion-dollar organization. The program will consist of 3 one-year rotations covering different financial disciplines, including: Manufacturing Accounting Financial Planning & Analysis Treasury Internal Audit External Reporting Investor Relations Operational AccountingAPPLICANTS
The right candidate for this program will be a dynamic individual who is excited by challenges, embraces change, and is eager to learn and work at fast pace. Qualifications Finance or Accounting internship experience Ability to develop and articulate general strategies and detailed operation plans Proven track record of delivering commitments and working effectively with peers outside the Finance function Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management and financial software applications Bachelor of Science inBusiness:
Specialization in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting Minimum of one relevant internship and/or 1 year of experience Demonstrated strong work ethic Highly efficient and detail-oriented Strong analytical skills or ability to organize and digest large sets of data with minimal instruction Recommended Minimum GPA of 3.0 Relevant internship or previous experience in Finance/Accounting Excellent written and verbal communication skills #LI-RBBenefits
