Job Overview The Housing Manager oversees the daily operations of Cairn Recovery Resources' housing programs, ensuring a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment for residents. This role involves managing housing facilities, supervising staff, monitoring compliance with program policies, and coordinating with other departments to support clients' recovery and housing stability.
Duties :
Facility Operations:
Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of all housing facilities. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with program and safety standards. Coordinate with maintenance staff or vendors to address repairs and improvements.
Staff Supervision:
Supervise and support house monitors and peer supporters, providing training and guidance as needed. Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage in all housing facilities. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
Client Management:
Ensure residents comply with housing rules and expectations, addressing violations promptly. Mediate conflicts among residents and work collaboratively with staff to resolve issues. Support clients in achieving their housing and recovery goals by coordinating with case managers and peer supporters.
Program Compliance:
Maintain detailed records of housing operations, including incident reports, resident concerns, and maintenance logs. Ensure housing program operations comply with HIPAA, Medicaid, and organizational policies. Assist in audits and evaluations to ensure program quality and effectiveness. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in housing management, residential services, or a related role. CDCA or higher professional license required Experience working with individuals in recovery or in a substance abuse treatment setting preferred. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities. Knowledge of housing resources, recovery principles, and Medicaid regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other documentation systems.
