The Executive Director will oversee all operational, programmatic, and administrative functions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities and underserved communities. This role demands a proactive leader who can foster strong relationships, manage diverse teams, and drive organizational growth while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of social services expertise, management acumen, and a heartfelt dedication to empowering individuals through innovative programs and compassionate leadership. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and vision to advance the organization's mission and goals. Oversee program development, ensuring services meet the needs of individuals with disabilities and underserved populations. Manage staff supervision across multiple departments, including social service program staff, behavioral health specialists, and administrative personnel. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, clients, and funding agencies. Lead budgeting efforts, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure organizational sustainability. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing social services and disability programs. Supervise technical projects and program initiatives, providing guidance on project management best practices. Oversee client communication efforts to promote transparency, engagement, and positive outcomes. Foster an inclusive environment that supports bilingual staff and promotes cultural competence within the organization. Monitor program performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies. Experience Extensive experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs in social service settings. Proven leadership in social services administration or nonprofit management with supervisory experience in team management roles. Demonstrated success in program development, implementation, and evaluation within underserved communities. Strong relationship management skills with community organizations, government agencies, and funding bodies. Administrative experience including budgeting, compliance oversight, and staff supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively serve diverse populations. Experience managing technical projects or programs related to social services is preferred.
