Job Description
Director of Education Graduate Programs The Education Department at Lebanon Valley College invites applications for a nine-month, renewable faculty appointment as Director of Education Graduate Programs , with faculty rank, beginning July 2027. This full-time, on-campus position combines 50% faculty teaching responsibilities and 50% administrative responsibilities during the academic year, with a stipend available for summer work as needed. The Director of Education Graduate Programs will provide leadership and oversight for the College's education graduate programs, with responsibility for ensuring program quality, student success, and continued growth. Key responsibilities include career-focused student advising; curriculum development and continuous program improvement; accreditation and assessment reporting; faculty mentoring and support; development and coordination of professional development opportunities; and cultivation of partnerships with local schools and educational agencies. The Director will coordinate education graduate programming and work collaboratively with faculty and campus partners to support recruitment, enrollment, and the overall student experience. In addition to administrative responsibilities, the successful candidate will teach courses aligned with their area of expertise, engage in scholarly activity, and participate in departmental, College, and professional service. The Director will also contribute to student recruitment and initiatives that strengthen and advance the College's education graduate offerings. The Director will work closely with the Department Chair and other colleagues to establish a regular on-campus schedule that effectively balances teaching, program leadership, student engagement, recruitment, and departmental and College responsibilities. Qualifications include 5 or more years of experience in public education, online course development and college-level teaching experience, a terminal degree is preferred, master's degree required.
