Housing Manager Job Summary The Housing Manager oversees the daily operations and plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the business administrative functions and the ability to thrive in a professional office environment. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, while ensuring residents receive quality support and services. This role involves managing resident relationships, coordinating housing, and maintaining efficient administrative processes. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and proficient in utilizing various tools to support all parts of operations. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate housing to meet applicants and current resident needs. Communicate effectively with residents and potential residents to understand their housing requirements Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and handle related correspondence for housing related matters. Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable specific to housing operations, including processing payments, and reconciling accounts. Assist with budget preparations. Maintain accurate records and files, both hard copy and electronic. Work closely with the Maintenance Department to coordinate work orders and timely responses. Ensure that office policies and procedures related to housing operations are followed and updated as needed. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, and correspondence related to housing operations. Oversee the administration of housing applications, eligibility, membership requirements, settlements, and program compliance. Maintain accurate records of applicants and residents. Address resident concerns promptly and work towards resolving issues efficiently. Embrace leadership responsibilities, creating an atmosphere of accountability, professionalism, and commitment to teamwork and resident satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in office management role in housing environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent verbal & written communication skills and team collaboration. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Proficiency in RealPage Software or any other online housing portal. Knowledge of housing assistance programs and related policies. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
