We are seeking an Associate Epidemiology Specialist to support the Pennsylvania Department of Health's Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT) Program . This is an excellent opportunity for a public health, epidemiology, environmental health, health education, or data-focused professional who enjoys combining data analysis, public health communication, outreach, and environmental health education . Key Responsibilities Assist with the analysis and dissemination of environmental public health data Support the development and maintenance of data dashboards Assist with preparing and submitting required CDC grant metrics Develop environmental health materials including infographics, fact sheets, posters, toolkits, trainings, social media content, newsletters, and reports Maintain and update environmental health webpages Help translate technical environmental health information into clear, understandable public-facing content Participate in community events promoting environmental health literacy Communicate and coordinate with community partners, stakeholders, government agencies, nonprofits, and academic partners Assist with virtual Environmental Health Lunch & Learn events Participate in Environmental Health Advisory Group, Tracking, CDC, and internal program meetings Support grant-related activities, program evaluation, outreach projects, and other environmental health initiatives We're Looking for

Candidates With Experience or Education In:

Epidemiology, public health, environmental health, environmental science, health education, or a related field Data analysis, surveillance, reporting, or data visualization Creating dashboards, reports, or other data products Developing educational or public health communication materials Community outreach and stakeholder engagement Translating technical or scientific information for different audiences Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and other standard office technology Strong written and verbal communication Managing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities Experience working with CDC-funded programs, grant reporting, environmental health data, public health surveillance, health equity/CLAS standards, dashboards, graphic design, or community education would be especially valuable. Important Location Information ⭐ Candidates DO NOT have to currently live in Pennsylvania. Out-of-state candidates may be considered. The position is primarily remote; however, candidates must be able to travel to Harrisburg and other locations within Pennsylvania approximately 2-3 times per year when required.
