Job Description
Director of Foster Care Universal Health Services, Inc. company, in partnership with Greystone Foster Care, has a long history in providing comprehensive behavioral health care services to at-risk youth struggling with extensive mental health issues. Greystone Foster Care recruits foster parents and offers the training to be equipped to provide a safe, stable and therapeutic environment for children and youth that have been removed from their homes. Our training prepares staff and foster parents to support children and youth as they begin the healing process. Our therapeutic foster parents link children and youth to hope, healing and trust. Greystone Foster Care is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Director of Foster Care to add to our growing team. The primary responsibilties of the Director of Foster Care are to coordinate and supervise the Regional Foster Care Program including the Regional Foster Care staff, parents and homes to fullfill the agency's mission. This role requires full-time dedication and must be flexible to include weekends and evening work.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Achieve and maintain Foster Care Program capacity goals. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate and supervise employees in the Foster Care Program Ensure compliance with CARF and licensing standards. Conduct periodic inspections of foster homes, client records and ensure compliance with the Foster Care Program policies and procedures Implement recruitment and retention strategies, licensing and re-licensing processes and supervise foster home placements Develop and implement an in-service training program for all staff within the department in conjunction with the Executive Director and other agency training programs. To participate in continuing education opportunities, including agency in-service training, professional seminars, workshops, and conferences and to ensure that all training requirements for certifications are fulfilled annually Maintain a cooperative working relationship with community agencies and referral sources To ensure the program provides general support for all foster families, including 24-hour on-call support, and that the program has 24-hour availability to receive/process placement calls/inquiries Ensure compliance with all provisions/requirements of all contracts with DCS To represent agency at booths/speaking events as well as internal meetings as requested by the Executive Director/other programsBenefits Highlights:

Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field; Master's degree preferred Five to eight years of related experience and/or training.
