About SAGE :

Founded in 2021 by a therapist, Survivors Alliance for Growth and Employment (SAGE) supports women who have experienced human trafficking and severe sexual trauma. SAGE creates a bridge for participants that often face barriers to obtaining or maintaining employment due to the symptoms of PTSD. Our model of providing behavioral health interventions while women are experiencing adversity at work has been praised by survivors and therapists alike.

The Opportunity :

SAGE is seeking a Director of Programs to lead our "Survivor Journey" - the pathway a participant takes from intake through graduation and into employment and greater independence. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is both compassionate and highly boundaried, understands trauma, and can bring structure, consistency, and accountability to a small, mission-driven organization. The Director of Programs will oversee the participant experience and supervise our Case Manager and Job Coaches. This role will ensure that every woman receives the support, employment development, and opportunities she needs to progress toward independence. You will directly report to our Executive Director. This role is built for growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Participant Program Management Oversee intake, assessment, onboarding, documentation, goal planning, and participant progress. Supervise and support the Case Manager. Oversee career development, employment placement, graduation, and alumni engagement. Ensure participants have a clear and consistent pathway through SAGE. Employment Training Oversee job coaching, workplace supervision, participant work experiences, and employment skill development. Ensure participants are intentionally developing the skills needed for sustainable employment and independence. Participant Wellbeing Promote a safe, trauma-informed environment. Support participant safety, emotional regulation, and healthy boundaries. Respond appropriately to participant concerns and situations requiring additional support. Participant Community Coordinate survivor community events, celebrations, and graduation activities. Support our culture of belonging, dignity, growth, and mutual support.

SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven management or supervisory experience. Training and experience in Trauma-Informed Care. Experience working with survivors of trauma, human trafficking, sexual trauma, or other complex trauma. Training and/or experience in substance abuse treatment or recovery environments. Strong ability to maintain healthy professional boundaries in care environments. Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills. Ability to remain grounded and confident in emotionally complex situations. Commitment to SAGE's mission and faith-based environment rooted in God's Love for his children. Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Sales Platforms, or similar platforms is a plus. Creative, Sewing, and Basic Computer skill and/or a willingness to learn is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS 20

hours per week, hybrid (two, 6-hour shift at our workshop) Some evening and weekend availability is required for participant events and program needs. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs., extended standing/walking, and manual dexterity required. SAGE acknowledges the risks of Secondary Trauma and Compassion Fatigue, which is key to mitigating long-term effects of working with trauma survivors.
