ABOUT THE POSITION
The Director / Senior Director of Power Services is the agency's senior leader for power supply. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the position sets and owns 3CE's long-term power-supply strategy and leads the entire Power Supply organization — procurement and portfolio management, market operations, settlements oversight and contract lifecycle — across a multi-billion-dollar, rapidly growing resource portfolio. This role will be filled at the Director or Senior Director level, depending on a candidate's capabilities and experience. At the Senior Director level, the scope expands from directing resource planning, analysis and procurement to owning enterprise power strategy, portfolio risk-governance accountability, long-term origination and structured transactions, extensive executive and Board participation and engagement. The elevated classification and compensation at the Senior Director level reflect the sophistication of talent required to lead power supply at 3CE's current scale and complexity. This is a senior management class. The incumbent exercises broad independent judgment and authority over the agency's power-supply function, leads subordinate managers, and serves as the principal power-supply advisor to the COO, CEO and Board.

Own long-term origination and structured-transaction strategy; lead and approve complex, capital-scale PPA, ESA, storage/BESS, tolling and resource-adequacy transactions and negotiations. Establish and enforce enterprise portfolio risk governance — hedging policy, risk limits, credit and collateral strategy — and preserve independent controls between market operations and settlements. Serve as principal power-supply advisor and spokesperson to the COO, CEO, Board and Risk/Markets Committee; present strategy, portfolio performance, risk and major transactions for decision. Direct integrated resource planning and long-term reliability/RA positioning; set compliance strategy while the Power Supply Analyst prepares regulatory filings and the incumbent signs off before filing.
