Job Description

Join Our Team as a Full Time Program Director for our Suffolk TASC program! Are you passionate about supporting the justice involved population, and making a real difference in their lives? EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 80,000 people through 120 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated full time Program Director for our Suffolk TASC (Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities) program.

Onsite Suffolk TASC Office - 320 Carleton Ave in Central Islip, NY (8th Floor, Suite 8000)
Primary Purpose of Job:
The Program Director, Suffolk TASC & Judicial Diversion Programs oversees the daily operations of EAC Network's Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities (TASC) programs serving Suffolk County. This includes Suffolk TASC, and Suffolk TASC Case Management for justice involved individuals, as well as coordination with Suffolk County Problem Solving Courts where TASC provides screening, assessment, and case management services. The Director ensures compliance with court mandates and county requirements, and contractual obligations, while supervising staff and coordinating closely with criminal justice and treatment system partners.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Direct and supervise program staff; provide guidance, coaching, performance management, and staff development to support high quality service delivery. Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements, court mandates, reporting standards, confidentiality requirements, and agency policies for all programs within the assigned portfolio. Work with Division Director and/or Chief of Operations on preparation of funding applications, grants and related administrative submissions Maintain strong working relationships with courts, District Attorneys, defense counsel, probation, parole, correctional facilities, treatment providers, funders and public safety agencies. Coordinate grant and contract activities (monitoring achievement of goals, submission of reports, preparing for audits and refunding applications). Monitor and track expected revenue for fee-based programs. Develop and implement new systems and policies necessary to enhance program(s) operations Oversee program planning, development, and expansion. Ensure that program services are delivered in a highly professional manner. Support workforce management processes including hiring coordination, onboarding, training, supervision structures, and progressive discipline in collaboration with Division leadership and Human Resources. Monitor program budgets in conjunction with the Division Director and/or Chief of Operations. Represent assigned programs at stakeholder meetings, interagency planning sessions, task forces, and public forums as directed by the Division Director. Support workforce management processes including hiring coordination, onboarding, training, supervision structures, and progressive discipline in collaboration with Division leadership and Human Resources Ensure staff maintain required training and competency in evidence informed justice and behavioral health practices, including crisis response, motivational engagement strategies, and trauma informed approaches. Coordinate cross program operational consistency, including standard operating procedures, referral workflows, documentation templates, and data collection practices across county-based program sites. Maintain current knowledge of applicable criminal justice system procedures, court practices, and treatment and reentry resources relevant to the assigned program portfolio. Work with development and communications staff to support fundraising initiatives and public awareness related to justice and behavioral health services. Customarily and regularly exercise discretionary authority in matters related to program operations, problem solving, and service delivery. Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the Division Director and EAC Network Administration.

Supervisors, Senior Case Managers, Clinical Coordinators, Case Managers, Family Case Managers, Ignition Interlock Case Managers, Vocational Case Managers, Peers, Administrative Coordinators and Office Managers Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Public Administration, or related field required. CASAC or comparable substance use services credential preferred. Supervisory experience in criminal justice diversion or substance use treatment coordination programs preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of TASC models, problem solving courts, and treatment referral systems. Demonstrated knowledge of court systems, community supervision systems, and behavioral health service coordination for justice involved populations. Strong contract compliance, audit readiness, and performance management skills, including ability to analyze performance trends and implement corrective actions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing formal reports for courts, funders, and oversight entities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant data and case management systems. Ability to travel between program sites as required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience with judicial and government stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic case management systems, court data platforms, and reporting systems.
