Regional Portfolio Leader (Ohio - Toledo & Cleveland Region)

Full-Time About the Role We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential communities across the Ohio region. This leader will drive operational excellence, financial performance, compliance, and team development across multiple properties. You'll act as the key connection between on-site teams and executive leadership—ensuring every community operates at its highest potential while delivering an exceptional resident experience. What You'll Do Lead and support Property Managers across assigned communities Drive occupancy, leasing performance, and rent strategy to maximize NOI Recruit, train, coach, and develop on-site teams Ensure full compliance with Fair Housing, HUD, and LIHTC regulations Conduct operational audits (maintenance, admin, accounting, compliance) Oversee budgets, approve expenditures, and support capital planning Resolve escalated resident concerns and maintain strong community relations Lead regional meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews Support onboarding of new properties into the portfolio Partner with Asset Management to optimize portfolio performance Ensure properties meet company standards for quality, safety, and service What We're Looking For 5+ years of supervisory experience in property management 2+ years of on-site property management experience Strong knowledge of Fair Housing and affordable housing programs (HUD/LIHTC preferred) Proven leadership experience managing teams across multiple sites Strong financial and operational acumen Experience with Yardi or similar property management systems (preferred) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Nice to Have CPM designation (or actively pursuing) Experience overseeing multiple communities or regional portfolios Background in affordable housing operations Why This Role This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll directly influence portfolio performance, team development, and resident satisfaction across multiple communities.
