Job Description

L'Arche Tahoma Hope - Vocational and Community Programs Director About L'Arche L'Arche Tahoma Hope is a nonprofit organization located in the South Puget Sound region of WA state. We are a person-centered and relationship-focused organization that works with people with and without intellectual disabilities. We aim to create a culture and society where we celebrate the vulnerabilities of what it means to be human and integrate inclusive practices for people of all abilities. We share life in our 3 group homes, in our vocational and activity programs and in our outreach efforts with immersion programming and gatherings.
Job Brief:
The Vocational and Community Programs Director provides vision and direction for L'Arche employment, community inclusion, activities and classes at L'Arche Tahoma Hope's Welcome Center and Farm & Gardens (Farm). This person has direct oversight of all related regulations and contract compliance. The Vocational and Community Programs Director will be responsible for program development and management, creating systems and structures within the department, researching other models that are used and continuing building the groundwork for the future of L'Arche Programs. Guided by the mission and charter of L'Arche, the Vocational and Community Programs Director ensures that L'Arche values and traditions are reflected in the daily life of the Activities, Employment and Community Inclusion programming. This position also oversees recruitment, orientation, training and retention of Programs team members. This director is also a member of the executive leadership team at L'Arche. Some remote work is available but this is primarily an on-site role. Some evenings and weekends will be required.

L'Arche Wage Range:
Salary Range $70,000-$80,000/year, non-exempt
