Job Description

The Assistant City Administrator for Public Utilities provides executive-level leadership and direction over the City's Electric, Water, Wastewater, and Gas utilities. This position assists the City Administrator in planning, organizing, and coordinating operations and projects to ensure efficient, reliable, and compliant service delivery to the citizens of Bennettsville. The incumbent is a key member of the executive management team and serves as Acting City Administrator in the absence of the City Administrator when designated. Applicant should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred). At least 3 years in a senior supervisory or administrative role. A valid South Carolina driver's license and acceptable driving record to retain an assigned city vehicle for official use.
