Coordinates all Civil Service Commission meeting requests and presentations with Sheriff and administrative staff, law enforcement and corrections associations. Researches agenda items. Oversees the Sheriff's Office employee grievance process. Investigates employee grievances and helps resolve conflicts. Coordinates grievance hearings with Civil Service Commissioners, County Attorney's Office, all involved parties with their attorneys. Reviews and ensures that policies and procedures within the Commission are consistent with state and federal policies, laws and regulations, and recommends changes as necessary. Coordinates with vendors and the Sheriff's Office to plan, develop, and implement the written and verbal promotional testing process. Responsible for administrative duties for the Civil Service Commission. Maintains and organizes information related to activities and meetings.
