Open Until Filled Employment Opportunity Under the general supervision of the Public Works Executive Director, the Public Services Director provides leadership and performs professional, administrative, and managerial duties related to directing, organizing, and coordinating the successful operations of Traffic Operations, Streets, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Fleet (Divisions). Qualifications Considerable Public Works leadership, management, and administrative experience. Considerable knowledge of the principles, practices, materials, and equipment used in the construction, maintenance, and management of Traffic Operations, Streets, Fleet, and GIS. Requires graduation from a four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree. A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering or related field and considerable experience in transportation design, traffic operations management, fleet management, asset management, and geographic information systems is desirable. A Professional Engineering (PE) license in civil engineering in the State of Utah is desirable. A minimum of four years of leadership and management experience is desirable. A Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree or other relevant master's degree is desirable. Pay and Benefits Individual starting salary will depend on qualifications, certifications, and experience. The City also provides a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. Schedule Full Time.
