Clinical Director Position Summary The Program Director is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational oversight, and continued growth of Team LLC's behavioral health services throughout Region 5. This executive leadership position oversees multiple service lines, ensures regulatory compliance, drives operational performance, and develops strategic community partnerships to expand access to quality behavioral health care. The Program Director provides direct supervision to Program Managers and departmental leaders while ensuring all services meet DBHDS, DMAS, and organizational standards. This role serves as Team LLC's regional representative, fostering relationships with hospitals, Community Services Boards (CSBs), schools, social services, managed care organizations, and community partners to strengthen referrals, contracts, and collaborative initiatives. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesExecutive Leadership & Operations Provide executive oversight of all Region 5 behavioral health programs. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Program Managers and regional leadership staff. Ensure efficient day-to-day operations while maintaining high-quality, person-centered services. Monitor productivity, staffing, service utilization, and operational performance. Develop and implement strategic initiatives that support organizational growth and sustainability. Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term planning and expansion opportunities. Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with all applicable DBHDS, DMAS, Medicaid, HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational requirements. Monitor documentation quality, service delivery, and billing compliance. Maintain audit readiness and oversee corrective action plans when necessary. Lead quality assurance, performance improvement, and risk management initiatives. Ensure licensing standards are consistently maintained across all assigned programs. Financial & Performance Management Assist in developing and managing departmental budgets. Monitor revenue, productivity, utilization, and financial performance. Identify operational efficiencies and opportunities to improve program performance. Ensure staffing patterns support both quality care and financial sustainability. Community Relations & Business Development Develop strategic partnerships with hospitals, Community Services Boards (CSBs), schools, physician groups, law enforcement, managed care organizations, and referral partners. Represent Team LLC at community meetings, coalitions, networking events, and state or regional conferences. Support contract development, Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), and referral agreements. Collaborate with leadership on branding, marketing, and community engagement initiatives. Identify grant, funding, and partnership opportunities that support organizational growth. Human Resources & Staff Development Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and retain high-performing staff. Conduct regular supervision, performance evaluations, and leadership development. Promote employee engagement, accountability, and professional growth. Ensure staff complete all required trainings and maintain compliance with credentialing requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health or human services. Experience supervising multiple programs, departments, or service lines. Strong knowledge of DBHDS licensing regulations, DMAS Medicaid requirements, and behavioral health documentation standards. Experience with quality improvement, program development, and operational management. Demonstrated success in community outreach, strategic partnerships, and relationship development. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHRs), Microsoft Office, and operational reporting systems. Requirements Successful completion of all required criminal background checks and Central Registry screenings. TB screening as required. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Ability to travel throughout Region 5 as needed.
