Job Description
The Central District Administrative Specialist provides comprehensive administrative support to district personnel, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily activities. This role serves as the backbone of administrative coordination within the district, supporting members through front desk operations, records management, reporting, and logistical coordination. The position requires exceptional organizational skills and a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality, given the sensitive nature of the information handled.
About This Role:
This position serves as the primary administrative support for the Central District, overseeing a broad range of essential functions that ensure smooth daily operations. The Administrative Specialist manages front desk activities, maintains databases and operational records, coordinates training and travel logistics, and prepares reports for district leadership. The role involves frequent interaction with both internal personnel and the public, requiring professionalism, clear communication, and strong customer service skills. Because the position routinely handles confidential and law-enforcement-sensitive information, discretion, accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail are imperative. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong organizational and administrative capabilities, proficiency with office systems and data management tools, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. High school diploma or G.E.D and 2 years of experience providing administrative support services and coordination.Preferences:
Experience in administrative roles within law enforcement, government, or similarly structured organizations Knowledge of budgeting processes and purchasing procedures Experience coordinating travel arrangements Skill in preparing reports and managing databases Ability to maintain accurate and well-organized operational recordsSpecial Requirements:

The position operates during standard daytime business hours, with potential flexibility based on operational needs.Starting Salary Range :
