Qualifications & Requirements The qualified applicant will have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, business administration, planning, economics, engineering, transportation, public policy, or a related field is expected. A master's degree in public administration, business administration, planning, public policy, or a related discipline is highly desirable. Significant progressively responsible executive or senior management experience in a large local government, public agency, regional organization, or comparably complex organization is strongly preferred. Experience working directly with elected officials and leading multiple departments, major organizational functions, or complex cross-functional initiatives is highly desirable. Special Requirements Prince William County requires the selected candidate to reside within Prince William County following appointment. The selected candidate must also successfully pass a background check.
