Full Job Description SUMMARY:
Responsible for the development and implementation of SER National's Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) within assigned state. Directs and oversees all the assigned regional SCSEP activities project offices. Directly responsible for overall program implementation, including performance, compliance with regulations, budgets and relationships with regional sub-recipient, partners and staff. Reports directly to the National Director ofSCSEP. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Works collaboratively with the SER staff and sub-recipient to coordinate services and activities with SER National and regional SCSEP programs. 2. Supervises implementation of SER National's regional SCSEP program at the statewide level. Ensures compliance with all contractual obligations. 3. Monitors progress of each regional SCSEP regional program. Remains in regular contact with the sub-recipient in the region, and the partners. 4. Ensures that policies and controls for SCSEP program and budgets are in compliance with regulations. 5. Oversees the activities of the local SCSEP programs within the region. Works with local SCSEP program and partners to direct the delivery of activities in their respective communities. 6. Works with local SCSEP staff within respective sites to ensure program performance goals are met. Provides technical assistance on program and fiscal related issues. 7. Supervises and evaluates all regional SCSEP programmatic staff. Conducts staff performance reviews. 8. Coordinates and conducts on-site visits to local SCSEP programs for staff training and development. 9. Compiles weekly, monthly and quarterly reports of SCSEP activities. With assistance from staff, Regional SCSEP Director will compile, writes, and submits reports for the National SCSEP Director 10. Performs other duties as deemed appropriate.COMPETENCIES

Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent years of work experience. Master's degree preferred. Knowledge of the Older Americans Act and amendments and the WOIA. Experience working with the SCSEP program on a state or national level. Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations affecting employment and training practices. Knowledge of social service, counseling, career planning, and/or placement, community agency practices or related field. Knowledge of, or ability to learn and use of SPARQ and other automated reporting systems. Knowledge in budget forecasting and fiscal planning. Strong management and supervisory skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain composure and handle pressure. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Excellent oral and written communications skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours. Extensive travel required. Must possess and provide a valid Driver's License and Automobile Liability Insurance. Must have access to reliable transportation in order to make required home visits.Similar remote jobs
