Converse County Aging Services (CCAS) is seeking an experienced, organized, and strategic Finance Director to oversee the financial operations of our nonprofit organization serving older adults and communities throughout Converse County. Converse County Aging Services provides senior services, aging services, nutrition programs, activities, resources, and community support for older adults throughout Converse County. Our senior centers are places where people gather, connect, share meals, participate in activities, and remain engaged in their communities. The Finance Director plays an important role in making sure the financial foundation behind those services is strong, accurate, responsible, and sustainable.

NOW ABOUT THE

JOB... The Finance Director will oversee the organization's financial operations and work closely with the Executive Director, leadership team, staff, Board of Directors, auditors, and community partners.

Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing day-to-day financial operations. Preparing and monitoring organizational budgets. Preparing accurate financial reports for leadership and the Board. Monitoring cash flow, revenues, expenditures, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Maintaining accurate accounting records and financial documentation. Supporting payroll and related financial processes. Assisting with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Coordinating with external accountants, auditors, and financial professionals. Supporting the annual audit. Maintaining and strengthening internal controls and financial procedures. Identifying opportunities to improve financial systems, efficiency, reporting, and accountability. Providing financial information and analysis to support organizational decisions.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR A FINANCIAL LEADER

You should bring: Strong accounting and financial management skills. Experience with budgeting and financial reporting. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial staff and leadership. Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and general ledger activity. Strong computer and financial software skills. Professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability. The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience in nonprofit accounting, healthcare, human services, senior services, government, or community-based organizations is highly valued. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant professional experience. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Starting salary: $70,000 annually , with consideration given to experience and qualifications.
