SUMMARY OF POSITION

Under direct supervision of Purchasing Manager, enter, process and follow up on purchase orders. Work closely and effectively communicate with internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner. Enter and issue accurate purchase orders. Confirm purchase orders and delivery dates for the PO and update due dates on PO accordingly. Maintain follow-up responsibility with suppliers to ensure commitment dates are held Publish and provide daily analysis of PO reports to the team. Resolve discrepancies and issues with a sense of urgency Provide professional customer service by responding to planning or supplier inquiries, communicating changes and schedule impacts and escalating potential issues as necessary

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent 2 years data entry experience with high degree of accuracy Proficiency with Excel Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
