Factory Livermore, CA Job Details Part-time $17 - $19 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Graphic design Canva Working with children Cleaning Factory experience Full Job Description We are seeking a passionate and energetic Birthday Party Instructor to help manage and instruct at our weekend makerspace birthdays. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, is comfortable managing large groups, and can interact confidently with parents. You will be responsible for greeting families, facilitating party activities, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage fast-paced birthday parties and birthday party activities, ensuring all activities run smoothly and on schedule. Greet parents and communicate effectively to ensure their expectations are met. Lead children aged 4-12. Learn and teach basic maker activities (e.g., basic clay, basic painting, Canva graphic design, robot kits) Be willing to learn how to use makerspace equipment (e.g., t-shirt printers, vinyl cutters, button machines.) Coordinate with other instructors to manage group activities and transitions. Assist with setting up and cleaning up the party activities, doing party prep work, managing supplies, and maintaining a fun and safe environment. Contribute to the development of new and exciting birthday party activities and themes, bringing fresh ideas to enhance our offerings

Qualifications:

Must be able to consistently arrive on time for scheduled weekend shifts. Comfortable working with large groups of children (up to 30 kids). Ability to interact positively with parents and address any concerns. Willingness to learn new skills and teach maker activities. Willingness to take the food handlers online certification course (will be paid for). Experience working with kids ages 4-12 preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Create It!
