Job Description
Overview We are a recycling company specializing in plastic scrap and electronic recyclable materials. We are seeking a motivated Purchasing Specialist to develop new suppliers and source recyclable materials. Responsibilities Make outbound calls to manufacturers and businesses to identify potential suppliers. Source plastic scrap and electronic recyclable materials. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers. Request pricing, material details, and availability. Follow up with potential suppliers and purchasing opportunities. Maintain accurate supplier and call records. Assist with daily purchasing activities. Requirements Previous experience in purchasing, sales, or business development preferred. Strong English communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Comfortable making outbound cold calls. Good communication and negotiation skills.
