UTMC has six manufacturing factories - five in various states within the United States and one in Mexico - and a research and development facility in California. UTMC is headquartered in City of Industry, California. This is an on-site position at our R D Facility located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Position Summary The Purchasing Clerk will assist our purchasing team with organizing, tracking, and recording purchase orders. Ideal candidate will have administrative and clerical experience in the manufacturing industry
Key Responsibilities:
Inputs PO's into Microsoft D365 for the R D facility Track and input insurance from vendors Maintain and issue pricing to estimating and plants Maintain and update various Excel spreadsheets as needed to track performance. Maintain and update preferred and standard vendor; supply letters, pricing and agreements. Input RFQ's into the system Organize and maintain corporate library General filing Issue PO's for office supplies Organize and maintain Sample area Other general clerical duties as required by supervisor Qualifications Working understanding of Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point. Microsoft Dynamics/Microsoft AX a plus Limble a plus Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to maintain accurate records. 2+ years office experience desirable. Must be willing to work independently and take responsibility for actions. Mechanical Aptitude desirable. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Regularly exercises discretion and the ability to prioritize workload. Compensation Salary Range:
