In this role, you'll support the buying team with administrative tasks, order tracking, reporting, and data analysis to help inform inventory decisions and future buys. Reporting to the VP of Buying, you'll play an important role in supporting the division's buying function, with a strong focus on data processing, organization, and analysis. The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, comfortable working with large data sets, and advanced in Excel.
What You'll Be Doing:
Collect, organize, and assess internal and external data for analysis. Support the buying team by pulling reports, including sell-through, inventory management, open PO, and sales history reports. Research, organize, and tag product information. Issue, review, and manage purchase orders and supplier order confirmations. Maintain accurate purchase order details in the ERP system, including cost, style codes, shipping windows, images, and product descriptions. Partner cross-functionally with the logistics team to maintain shipping details and track product deliveries. Conduct competitive research on pricing, MSRP, imagery, and product information. Provide general administrative support to the sales and buying teams as needed.
What You'll Bring:
3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced fashion wholesale buying or merchandising environment. Strong administrative, analytical, and organizational skills. Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, SUMIF, and VLOOKUP. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities may shift. Commercial awareness and an understanding of products, competition, and business needs. An entrepreneurial mindset, strong work ethic, and eagerness to grow within the company.
