The Administrative Assistant plays a key support role in keeping our drill crews supplied, equipped, and operational by ensuring materials and services arrive where they're needed, when they're needed. Position Summary The Administrative Assistant supports the Supply Chain Manager by helping with ordering materials, tracking deliveries, maintaining records, and coordinating with suppliers. This role plays an important part in making sure our drilling operations have the supplies and equipment needed to keep projects moving. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, enjoys working with people, and wants to learn about purchasing and supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities Assist the Supply Chain Manager with day-to-day purchasing activities. Create and process purchase orders after approvals are received. Enter and update order information in company systems. Request pricing and quotes from suppliers. Follow up on orders and delivery schedules. Communicate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and field employees regarding material needs. Help coordinate shipping and freight deliveries. Track shipments and assist with resolving delivery issues. Assist with inventory counts and inventory record maintenance. Help ensure materials and supplies are available when needed. Work with accounting and suppliers to help resolve invoice or order questions. Maintain organized purchasing and shipping records. Build positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in an office, customer service, administrative, warehouse, or purchasing support role is helpful, but not required. Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
