Job Description

Avondale Dental is looking for a highly organized and personable Scheduling and Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This position plays an important role in keeping our providers' schedules productive, helping patients understand and move forward with recommended treatment, and creating a welcoming experience for every patient.
Hours are:
  • Tuesday 9:00am
  • 5:30pm
  • Wednesday 8:00am
  • 4:00pm
  • Thursday 6:30 am
  • 3:30pm
  • Friday 6:30 am

  • Greet and check in patients in a friendly, professional manner
  • Verify and update accurate patient records.
  • Coordinate and manage doctors' appointments and schedules.
  • Confirm next-day provider appointments.
  • Effectively present and schedule recommended treatment.
  • Follow up on proposed treatment plans to encourage case acceptance and timely scheduling.
  • Monitor pre-authorized treatment requests and ensure treatment is scheduled promptly.
  • Discuss financial arrangements and help patients understand their treatment options.
  • Assist with Invisalign scheduling.
  • Assist with patient checkout according to practice guidelines.
  • Open and close the office following established procedures and support the team with additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of dental front desk or reception experience (required)
  • Proficiency with dental practice management systems such as Eaglesoft preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
