We are actively recruiting for an experienced Purchasing/Buyer. Must have at least 2 years of experience. Duties would include but not limited to Inventory Management A. Run daily reports to determine inventory needs B. Address immediate needs, run worksheets for the day C. Process purchase orders and follow orders through accurately and efficiently D. Track orders and schedule delivery appointments when necessary E. Check orders for accuracy upon delivery, receive orders in system, generate paperwork for customer service II. Team Support A. Work with customer service on customer deliveries, inventory needs B. Work with the warehouse on scheduling, receiving, returns C. Work with the sales team on quotes, product research, other needs D. Be open to all questions and inquiries III. Process Returns to Vendor IV. Develop Programs A. Build vendor relationships B. Negotiate the best pricing for quality product C. Establish rebate programs if vendor outside of buying group V. Skill Set A. Strong organizational skills in fast paced environment. B. Proficiency in Word and Excel. C. Team oriented D. Driven to produce best outcomes for customers and company. E. Soft skills - ability to interact well with customers, ability to compose a professional sounding email/have a professional phone conversation Miscellaneous projects and other tasks as seem fit by management Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
