Duties and Responsibilities:
include the following; other duties may be assigned. Set up and run machine with instructions from the foreman. Will monitor quality and adjust offsets in machine to hold tolerances per the blueprint specifications during production. Inspect finished work pieces to determine conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as gauges and micrometers. Observe machine operations to detect any problems; make necessary adjustments to correct problems. Set and adjust machine controls according to product specifications, utilizing knowledge of machine operation. Study blueprints and work orders to determine product specifications. Will oil and stack all finished parts neatly on a pallet or a box.
Requirements:
Must have 5 years experience on Horizontal Lathes, Vertical is a plus. Must have 5 years experience g code CNC (fanuc) programming to edit programs Must have knowledge of what tooling needs to be used for certain types of materials. Know speeds and feeds for different types of tooling. Know how to read and have a good understanding of blueprints Must have experience with inspection tools such as micrometer, gauges, calipers, etc
