This role owns the purchasing execution for assigned categories, managing supplier relationships, cost negotiations, purchase orders, and production timelines. You'll play a critical role in supporting margins, ensuring quality standards, and delivering products on time. What You'll Do Own the end-to-end purchase order lifecycle for assigned categories Communicate directly with overseas factories and vendors across time zones Negotiate pricing and terms to support margin goals Review and approve samples, artwork, and production components Track production timelines and critical path milestones Prepare margin analysis and purchasing reports Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Studio, and Product teams Identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities What You Bring 5+ years of experience in purchasing or buying Demonstrated hard goods product development experience, ideally in toys, consumer products or similar categories Advanced Excel skills with strong reporting capabilities Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Ownership mindset with high accountability Strong understanding of landed cost pricing and its impact on margin Proven ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft NAV preferred) Mandarin proficiency a plus (not required) Passion for product development, innovation, and toys Active passport required Travel Requirement This role includes approximately one international trip per year to China or Hong Kong to visit factories and vendors. New hires can expect to join this trip after completing one year of employment.
