Job Description

We're looking for a Purchasing Assistant to help keep our automotive accessory stores stocked with the products our Guests and Customers are wanting. This role will work closely with vendors, store teams, and our internal purchasing team to place orders, track inventory, and make sure products get where they need to go. If you're organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with vendors, and enjoy working in the automotive aftermarket, this could be a great fit! What You'll Do Place product orders with vendors based on inventory needs and store demand Monitor open and back-ordered purchase orders and follow up with vendors Communicate regularly with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, shipments, and product issues Track incoming orders and help ensure products are received accurately and on time Assist with making sure products are properly assigned to the appropriate store, location, or customer Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor information Help research product availability, pricing, and alternative products when needed Work with store teams to identify product needs and resolve ordering issues Assist with returns, credits, damaged products, and vendor discrepancies Help maintain appropriate inventory levels at our Warehouse and across our locations Build and maintain positive relationships with our vendor partners Provide general purchasing and administrative support to the team What We're Looking For Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong communication and follow-up skills Comfortable communicating with vendors and business partners Able to manage multiple orders and priorities at the same time Proficient with computers, email, and Microsoft Office/Excel Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Reliable, accountable, and willing to take ownership of tasks Previous purchasing, inventory, automotive, parts, or retail experience is a plus
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
