Overview:

We are looking for a highly efficient, detail-driven Purchasing & Production Assistant with proven experience in hair and jewelry accessories. This role requires someone who can operate with speed and accuracy in a demanding, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute purchasing of raw materials and finished goods with accuracy and urgency Coordinate closely with vendors and factories to meet strict production and delivery timelines Maintain and track production schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met without exception Manage purchase orders, inventory, and production data primarily in Excel Perform high-volume double data entry across two systems , maintaining absolute accuracy despite the repetitive and time-intensive nature of the task Handle daily email communication with suppliers and internal teams in a clear, professional, and timely manner Proactively identify and resolve delays, discrepancies, or production issues Support overall production operations and adapt quickly to shifting priorities

Requirements:

Direct experience in purchasing/production within hair accessories, jewelry, or similar product categories (required) Advanced Excel skills (must be comfortable working with large datasets, formulas, and tracking systems) Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Excellent written communication skills (email is a primary tool in this role) Proven ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy Comfortable handling repetitive, detail-heavy tasks for extended periods

Preferred:

Experience working with overseas vendors/manufacturers Familiarity with inventory or ERP systems Understanding of production timelines in a fashion or accessories environment

Compensation:

$50,000 - $60,000 salary , based on experience
