Job Description

General Function:
The Purchasing Intern will gain hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain operations by supporting the Purchasing team with day-to-day activities. This role provides an opportunity to learn industry best practices, develop analytical skills, and contribute to business projects while working alongside experienced professionals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with creating and tracking purchase orders. Support supplier communication and follow-up activities. Help maintain purchasing records, reports, and databases. Participate in inventory and spend analysis projects. Assist with data collection and preparation of procurement reports. Collaborate with team members on process improvement initiatives. Attend meetings and training sessions to gain exposure to purchasing operations. Perform other administrative and project-related duties as assigned within the PSI group.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Eagerness to learn and develop professional skills.'

Education and Experience:
