SALARY RANGE
$10.00-$18.00 ALL
FULL TIME POSITIONS
In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.
JOB SUMMARY
Assist with all procurement and ordering as needed within established guidelines. The Purchasing Clerk will also assist with determining order tactics, selecting vendors, following up with vendors for receipt and delivery information, placing orders, negotiating prices and setting up new vendor accounts. CPN Health Services personnel may be assigned to provide services to patients of all ages including but not limited to Indian Children and will require a criminal history background screening.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Prepare Purchase orders and data enter them for information into the Purchasing database. Assist with obtaining price quotes. Research and evaluate vendors based on product price, quality, selection and availability. Maintain vendor list and files, obtain vendor billing information. Compile and review data prepare vendor correspondence. Inform departments of the availability of materials and delivery schedules. Review requisitions in order to verify accuracy. Open, sort and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail. Delivery of all items. File copies of orders, or post on record. Perform general clerical duties. Sign off on requisitions. Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Experience in, advanced computer software experience, procurement, and inventory control. Must have extensive working knowledge of materials management for a health care program. Must understand automated finance systems and financial coding. Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear concise manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION
Preferably three (3) years minimum experience or any equivalent combination of training or experience in supervising and working with Native American Indians and other community businesses. Must possess a high school diploma. Must possess a reasonably clear driving record as required to be eligible to drive tribally insured vehicles.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Repetitive work at the computer.
  • Some bending and stretching.
  • May be required to lift as much as 75 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Office environment with some travel required. May transport materials in tribal vehicle for business purposes.
