Assist the Buyer with purchase order entry, reordering, and vendor communication. Maintain accurate SKU information, product coding, and system updates. Monitor inventory levels and help identify replenishment needs. Support pricing updates, promotional planning, and signage coordination. Help prepare reports and analyze sales and inventory data. Communicate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate product flow. Assist with product setup, item maintenance, and data integrity in merchandising systems. Participate in team meetings and contribute to category planning and execution. Provide general administrative support to the merchandising team. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the retail buying environment.

Qualifications and educational requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. No prior merchandising experience required—just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Strong organizational and time management skills. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Interest in retail, merchandising, or supply chain operations.
