A Purchasing Assistant assists buyers and staff in the purchasing or procurement department of a business or store. Assists with checking and completing purchase orders, communicates with vendors and suppliers, maintains records and provides data entry.
The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for administrative and clerical duties related to purchasing goods at Golden Mesa Casino.

N/A Essential Job Functions:
Prepare purchase orders and track their status, ensuring accurate delivery of goods. Monitor inventory levels. Reconcile discrepancies in inventory balances. Maintain purchasing files, reports, and price lists. Prepare inventory transfer forms to ensure goods are accurately accounted for. Communicate with suppliers to schedule deliveries and resolve issues. Assist in the development and maintenance of purchasing policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent, required

Experience in utilization purchasing and inventory control software, preferred Experience in balancing physical inventory to revenue in concession stands and bars, preferred

Must be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency, if applicable to perform the essential job functions
Physical Requirements:
Strength:
Sedentary to Medium workload. Stand, sit and walk consistently. Will be required to lift up to or over 40lbs or exert occasionally over 100lbs.
Movement :
Will consistently be required to touch, feel, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, reach. Will use office equipment. Driving motor vehicles as needed.
Auditory :
Frequently speak and articulate. Noise levels will be varied from moderate to heavy machinery.
Environmental :
Exposure to weather and extreme elements are minimal.
