What you will be doing:
Your main priority is a keen focus on identifying, sourcing, and maintaining parts for our exclusive glass manufacturing equipment. This is a high-paced and often-time crucial level of performance (60%). Sourcing materials including spare parts, tools, supplies, and facility maintenance items. Track and ensure timely delivery. Build a rapport with internal teams - Maintenance, Manufacturing, HR, and Shipping and Receiving Build a rapport with vendors and contractors for best sourced items and operate with a lean manufacturing influence. Maintain accurate pricing, supplier, and purchasing records. Other parts of your day are dedicated to safety initiatives (30%). Maintain inventory on all safety supplies both on the floor and in stock. Assist with training in safety procedures and compliance. Engage in preparation for safety events and needs as they arise. Additional duties (10%). Receive guests and visitors when appropriate. Collaborate in a team effort across offices aiding in assistance as needed. Provide administrative and transactional support throughout the facility May travel to sister building (Nashville) to assist, train, or cover duties (3-5%).
Desired Skills and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing purchasing role

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to transition quickly from front office to production floor. Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs . Must be able to work in extreme temperature environments on occasion.
