Scheduling Assistant Location:
Austin, TX Pay:
$20-$22/hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30
PM Part-Time Option:
9:00 AM-3:00 PM, with a 12:00-1:00 PM lunch Position Overview We are seeking an organized and efficient Scheduling Assistant to support the Scheduling Manager in a fast-paced office environment. This position offers a long-term opportunity for the right candidate, with the potential to transition into a full-time or part-time permanent position in December. Responsibilities Assist with scheduling and coordinating jobs. Create daily labels and job folders. Receive materials and create purchase orders using QuickBooks. Assist with general administrative and scheduling tasks. Use Microsoft Word and Excel for daily work. Communicate with vendors and team members as needed. Qualifications Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks . Strong organizational and communication skills. Detail-oriented and able to multitask. Reliable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Stone fabrication or construction experience is a plus. Familiarity with Moraware and basic knowledge of construction processes or blueprints is preferred. Work Environment Primarily office-based, with occasional time in a loud and dusty fabrication shop. Must be comfortable with heat, walking through the shop, and climbing stairs. Long-Term Opportunity If the candidate is a good fit and interested in continuing with the company, there is a strong possibility of transitioning into a full-time or part-time permanent position in December .
Compensation:
$20-$22/hour based on experience.
