Job Description
Purchasing Assistant
- Responsibilities for this position include the following but are not limited to: Working with the purchasing manager to run the purchasing department Maintaining cordial working relationships with vendors and supervising vendor activities Managing purchase orders, overseeing shipping schedules, and maintaining purchase records Research various vendors for various parts and equipment Reviewing internal inventory and restocking items when running low Updating and maintaining pricing Skills needed for the position include; Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, and Forms) & Quickbooks Online Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
