Job Description

Essential Job Functions:
Email purchase orders for assigned buyers to logistics for pickups in a timely and accurate manner Monitor and track orders to ensure on-time delivery, confirm appointments, and proactively resolve vendor-related issues Coordinate and manage special-order requests, ensuring proper documentation and timely follow-up Maintain item records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information within internal systems Scan, organize, and manage digital documentation to support efficient recordkeeping and retrieval Update and maintain vendor and broker contact databases to ensure accurate communication channels Conduct research to support buyers and category managers on request Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound calls and emails, providing prompt resolution and support for buyer-related inquiries Assist buyers with new item setup, including data entry and system configuration Input and manage cost updates to ensure accuracy across systems Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices in all procurement and departmental activities
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Must be able to type with speed and accuracy Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Must be able to complete job duties with a minimum of supervision Must possess an elevated level of attention to detail, be goal oriented and possess strong work ethics Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing with associates, management, and supplier Ability to attend on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical work week, and extra time as needed to fulfill job duties through regular attendance.
