Purchasing coordinator experience Full Job Description Aerospace Manufacturing Planner - Full-Time or Part-Time What You'll Do Review aerospace drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and customer requirements Develop manufacturing plans and shop travelers for individual parts and assemblies Determine the appropriate sequence of manufacturing operations Plan machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, inspection, heat treatment, plating, and other outside processing Identify material, hardware, and purchased-part requirements Work with machinists, inspectors, purchasing, engineering, and management to resolve planning questions Review existing plans and make corrections or improvements when needed Help ensure customer and quality requirements are properly incorporated into manufacturing plans Assist with planning new or unusual jobs, prototypes, and short-run aerospace work What We're Looking For We are primarily looking for practical aerospace manufacturing experience . You do not necessarily need to be an engineer. A strong candidate may have experience as an aerospace manufacturing planner, machinist, manufacturing engineer, quality inspector, programmer, or other hands-on manufacturing professional who understands how aerospace parts are actually made. Experience with some of the following would be helpful: Aerospace manufacturing and drawings CNC and manual machining Sheet metal and fabrication Welding and assemblies Outside processes such as heat treat, plating, anodizing, and NDT Aerospace specifications and material requirements AS9100 manufacturing environments Shop travelers, routers, work instructions, and planning with JobBoss Software. The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings is important.

Schedule Hours:

9:00 AM - 6:00 PM This position can be full-time or part-time for the right person. We are open to discussing a part-time schedule with an experienced candidate who doesn't want or need a traditional full-time position. We have been in business since 1999 and manufacture precision parts, tooling, test equipment, fabricated components, and assemblies for aerospace and other demanding applications. We are AS9100 and ITAR registered/certified and work in a hands-on, practical manufacturing environment where planners have direct access to the people actually building the parts.
