This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats. No two days are exactly the same. You may be coordinating an installation, organizing inventory, communicating with movers, preparing accessories for a project, assisting on-site, or helping keep the warehouse running smoothly. There is significant opportunity to grow within the studio and take on more responsibility as the company expands. What You'll Do
  • Coordinate staging installations, destaging, deliveries, movers, schedules, and project logistics
  • Prepare furniture, artwork, bedding, accessories, and décor for upcoming projects
  • Assist with staging installations, styling, and final project details
  • Organize, maintain, and track warehouse inventory
  • Receive, unpack, assemble, label, and organize new inventory
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work environment
  • Handle recycling, packaging breakdown, and proper disposal of materials
  • Assist with cleaning furniture, accessories, and inventory between projects
  • Communicate with clients, real estate agents, vendors, movers, and team members
  • Track project timelines, rental extensions, destaging dates, and other deadlines
  • Assist with purchasing, sourcing, and receiving inventory
  • Help capture occasional behind-the-scenes and social media content
  • Jump in wherever needed to keep projects and daily operations moving efficiently We're looking for someone who is:
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Proactive and able to work without constant direction
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities
  • A strong communicator and problem solver
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and changing priorities
  • Creative with a good eye for design and presentation
  • Comfortable with hands-on and physical work
  • Willing to help with everything from styling a beautiful room to cleaning, organizing, and recycling at the warehouse
  • Excited to learn, contribute ideas, and grow with a small business Experience in home staging, interior design, visual merchandising, retail, project coordination, operations, photography, events, or another creative field is a plus, but the right attitude, work ethic, and ability to learn are equally important.
Growth Opportunity This role has the potential to grow beyond an assistant position. As Rulaz Design Studio expands, the right person may take on increased responsibility in project management, staging operations, client coordination, design support, inventory management, and team leadership. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with the studio, help improve how we operate, and become an important part of what we're building. If you love the combination of creativity, organization, problem-solving, and getting things done, we'd love to hear from you.
