Job Description
Help Build a New Manufacturing Operation from the Ground Up GZ Printpak LLC is seeking a temporary, part-time Parts & Purchasing Assistant to help organize and source replacement parts and supplies for our growing manufacturing operation. Working directly with our Process Engineer, you'll help locate vendors, contact suppliers, compare pricing and availability, and assist with ordering the parts needed to keep our production equipment running. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys research, organization, phone communication, and problem solving. No engineering experience is required. Training will be provided. Responsibilities Research and source spare parts from suppliers and manufacturers Contact vendors by phone and email to obtain pricing, availability, and lead times Assist with placing purchase orders for approved parts Compare supplier options and document quotes Maintain organized records of parts, vendors, and purchase information Follow up with suppliers regarding order status and deliveries Provide administrative support to the Process Engineer as needed Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable making phone calls and communicating professionally with vendors Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook Ability to research information independently Reliable and self-motivated Previous purchasing, administrative, customer service, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required Schedule Temporary position Part-time (approximately 20-30 hours per week) Flexible schedule during normal business hours Equal Employment Opportunity GZ Printpak LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
