Job Description

General Description:

The MPU Expeditor is responsible for the pickup, delivery and transport of merchandise to and from the Milne Point Warehouse.

CCI Industrial Services provides quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development companies in Alaska and the lower 48 states. Essential Duties & Job Functions:

Drives Straight Truck hauling materials to & from Milne Point from Prudhoe Bay

Drives 60 passenger Crew Bus 1-2 times per week transporting passengers to and from Airport in Prudhoe Bay Perform labor such as carrying and lifting materials.

Promote safe work practices and adhere to company and client safety policies and procedures for work performed, including proper hazard recognition and mitigation of task.

Demonstrate adherence to established safety policies and procedures and accept accountability for safe work practices.

Routinely perform safety and productivity observations, shop, field, and vehicle inspections.

Maintain 100% "Safety Standards and Accountability" in all areas of mandatory/regulatory requirements. Must follow All HSE training requirements and stay current in all HSE training.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be highly organized and have excellent communication skills. Must be detail oriented Must have the flexibility to respond to a variety of requests and situations, evaluate and communicate information between numerous team leaders and locations, and prioritize and accomplish tasks with little, or no direct supervision.

Required Qualifications:

Valid drivers license

NSTC Card

Must be in good physical condition.

High School Diploma/ GED Work Environment:

This is a North Slope-assigned full-time position with normal working hours 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., 7 days/week with normal 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off shift with an alternate. Position may involve exposure to extremely hostile weather conditions at times while working outdoors. Arctic PPE is provided.

Position may involve working with potentially hazardous materials and waste.

Hard-toe safety footwear is always required while working.

LEVEL 3. MOBILITY

Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet.

LIFTING:

Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, 30 pounds from waist level to shoulder height and carry 50 pounds for 20 feet.

HEARING:

Must be able to hear audible safety alarms

VISUAL ACUITY

Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man. Have correctable vision to at least 20/40.

RANGE OF MOTION

An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/ post offer FCE.
