JOB SUMMARY
: Provides frontline operational and customer support for teachers, AMSTI sites, and internal staff by following established procedures and maintaining accurate program records. Supports daily business operations while identifying opportunities for process improvements.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
: Serve as the primary point of contact for teacher and site support related to certifications, forms, and ordering processes. Respond to customer inquiries using established procedures, templates, and FAQs. Maintain communication with and coordinate through AMSTI Business Operations Director and Business Operations Leadership Team (BOLT) to maximize efficiency and adherence to the Statewide Materials Timeline and AMSTI Requirements. Support managers, PDCs, and site ACES teams with their questions, provide suggestions on improving efficiency, and help staff maintain alignment with established policy and procedures. Process record updates and maintain accurate customer and program data. Support daily operational workflows, including status updates, approvals, and routine processes. Prepare routine reports and perform data entry to support business operations. Assist with training logistics, participant communication, and follow-up activities. Communicate effectively with administrators and/or teachers about materials usage and professional learning. Monitor operational processes, identify recurring issues, and recommend improvements to the AMSTI Business Operations Director. Draft and maintain operational documentation, templates, and user guides for review and approval. Escalate technical issues and atypical situations to the AMSTI Business Operations Director. Collaborate with the AMSTI Business Operations Director to implement approved process improvements and support statewide operational initiatives. Attend all required professional learning activities and staff meetings (in-person or virtual) conducted by the ALSDE or BOLT unless prior approval for absence is granted by the meeting host or the AMSTI Director Performs other duties as assigned by AMSTI Director, Business Operations Director, BOLT, orAMSTI-ALSDE

AMSTI salary Matrix $68,000 - $75,568 Future employment is contingent upon AMSTI funding.
